My scanner is dead. Or maybe dying. All I know is that every time I try to scan something I get a rather loud obnoxious grinding beeping noise, and no scanned image shows up when all is said and done. Until I get a replacement, no new sketches doodles or what not unless they're digital. I've had the old girl for nigh on four years or so. She's been good to me... The new scanner show's up in a few days so I'll be cannibalizing this old P.O.S. for spare parts pretty soon... Ain't I a cold heartless bastard?
In other news... The Hilltop (Howard University's daily student run newspaper) got a new cartoonist this year... Me. As cartoonist I'm tasked with creating all the cartoons for the editorials as well as other artsy fartsy stuff should it ever need be done. I thought it'd be the cat's metaphorical pajamas's if I posted up the cartoons I've done for the previous week. I'll try to do this every week so at the very least I stay active with this blog. Please note some of the cartoons here didnt actually appear in the paper... Oh and yes I know this is far below my usual standards give me about a month or so to warm up to this sort of thing.
